Fifty Nifty (Ten Sovereigns) winning at Yarmouth

Impressive Debut Winner For Ten Sovereigns

Fifty Nifty (3g Ten Sovereigns – Leala, by Montjeu) emerged as a smart prospect when running out a clear winner of Tuesday’s mile maiden at Yarmouth.

Tom Clover’s charge raced in touch with the leaders under Jack Mitchell and was switched left approaching the two furlong marker. He made smooth headway to lead a furlong later and quickened clear to win by three and a half lengths.

Speaking after the race, the winning trainers said, “Fifty Nifty has worked nicely at home but I wasn't expecting him to go away and win like that. He's a really exciting prospect and fingers crossed we can have a lovely time with him this season.”

The first crop son of Ten Sovereigns is owned by Oliver Humphrey and was bred by Empire Bloodstock.
