The 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale produced exceptional results for proven Group I sire So You Think who had 11 yearlings offered in Book 1 and all were sold at an average $275,909 earning him a spot in the Top 10 sires by average for the sale.
With six stakes-winners this season, So You Think has become a highly reliable sire of serious horses and that fact has not been lost on buyers looking for something other than a jump and run horse.
His progeny ranged in price from $160,000 to $375,000 with his top seller the full brother to Group I winner D’Argento that was offered by Baramul Stud and bought by BK Racing.
Not far behind was a Coolmore consigned filly from Kimblewick that was bought by Mystery Downs/John Foote Bloodstock for $370,000 and a colt from Babel offered by Newgate Farm that also made $370,000 when bought by China Horse Club/Newgate Bloodstock/WinStar.
Renowned judges Paul Moroney and Ciaron Maher bought his next two highest priced yearlings securing fillies from Personification and Spurs and Sashes for $340,000 and $320,000.
