Mastercraftsman Yearlings Find Favour
The first Southern Hemisphere bred progeny of four-time Group I winner Mastercraftsman were offered at the 2013 NZB Premier Yearling Sale on Monday and sold for up to $220,000.
His top seller was a half-sister to Group I winner Velocitea from stakes-placed Cat Shmea that made $220,000 to the bid of NZB as agent and was consigned by Curraghmore Stud.
His most expensive colt was the half-brother to HK Horse of the Year Ambitious Dragon that made $190,000 for Belvedere Farm when secured by Hong Kong based Mr Lee Wan Keung, while a colt from Brilliant Princess was bought by DGR Thoroughbreds for $135,000 from Mapperley Stud.
