So You Think Head Shot

New Stakes-Winner for So You Think

The Listed SAJC Port Adelaide Guineas over 1600 metres at Morphettville on Saturday was won in good style by progressive filly So We Are (3f So You Think x Oui Si Attitude, by Bianconi).

Placed second, two starts back in the Listed SAJC Laelia Stakes, the Phillip Stokes trained filly was ridden quietly by John Allen from an outside gate in the big field of 17 and hit the line full of running to win by half a length over Fastnet Rock filly Lady Young.

Retained to race by her breeders, So We Are has the consistent record of three wins and four placings from nine starts with prizemoney in excess of $132,000.

She is the best of two winners from stakes-placed Bianconi mare Oui Si Attitude, a half-sister to Group II placed Miss With Attitude from an Aga Khan nurtured European family that has produced Group I winners such as Shawanda, Sharaya, Shareta and Encke.

So We Are is the 18th stakes-winner for So You Think, who stands this spring at a fee of $38,500.
