Pride Of Dubai Head Shot

Pride of Dubai Champion First Season Sire

A dual Group I winning 2YO, Pride of Dubai always had the profile to suggest early success as a sire and he’s delivered on that promise to be the Champion Australian First Season Sire for 2019/2020.

Pride of Dubai sired 12 first crop winners, one of them in New Zealand, with his winners earning $1.1 million in prizemoney and including stakes-winner Tanker and stakes-placed fillies Bella Nipotina and Dubai Star as well as metropolitan winners Sense of Honour, Maha, Achiever and Mystique Falcon.

His burgeoning success led to some impressive sale ring results for Pride of Dubai, whose sale averages at every major sale were up markedly on the previous year, not easy for a young stallion do with his second crop.

He has had 59 yearlings sell this year at an average $142,762, up from 71 selling last year for $112,640 and set a new benchmark for himself with a colt from Archangel selling for $620,000 at Magic Millions.

These strong sale results are a clear indication of the regard in which his progeny are held, with much anticipation for the new season ahead.

Pride of Dubai stands at a fee of $38,500.
