Repole Purchases $350,000 American Pharoah Filly

A pair of American Pharoah yearlings sold at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale this week, led by a $350,000 purchase by West Bloodstock on behalf of Repole Stable.

Consigned by Taylor Made for D J Stable, the filly is a half-sister to two winners from two to race out of Uncle Mo’s Grade III winner Mo’ Green. Also a Grade II-placed runner, that mare is a half-sister to stakes winner She’screative and the stakes placed Brother In Arms. Their stakes form is no surprise with the trio out of the stakes placed She’s a Rebel Too, one of four stakes performers out of Dixieland Queen.

A sister to Grade II winner Box Office, Dixieland Queen produced the stakes winning Two Punch Sonny and Ragtime Doll and the multiple stakes placed Cheverly Gold. Another one of Dixieland Queen’s daughters was a stakes producer, led by the stakes winning Whoop’s Ah Daisy.

Chad Schumer signed a ticket for KGS on a $220,000 American Pharoah colt consigned by Paramount Sales.

The colt is the first out of Uncle Mo’s daughter Repetition. That mare is out of a full sister to the Grade I winner Magnificent Song and a half-sister to four other stakes performers. The group includes the Grade II-placed Great Barrier Reef and Grade III-placed duo of Galileo’s Song and Park Avenue.

In all, there are 17 stakes performers under the colt’s third dam alone with his fourth dam producing four more stakes performers.

American Pharoah is the sire of seven stakes winners this year with 15 stakes performers overall in 2024.
