Russian Rocks for Gibraltar

Rock Of Gibraltar had a black-type success on Friday when the tough Russian Rock (7h Rock Of Gibraltar-Mala Mala, by Brief Truce) scored in Listed company at Jebel Ali on Friday. The seven-year-old won easily at the same course on his previous outing and saw off a good field to win the Listed Jebel Ali Sprint over five furlongs by two lengths. The winner is trained by Musabah Al Muhairi for Fathi Esaed Mohd Egziama. Russian Rock, who was bred by Barronstown Stud and Liz Stack, is a sibling to the Listed winner Contest (8h Danehill Dancer-Mala Mala, by Brief Truce).
