So You Think Easter Success - Sales and Track
Former Champion racehorse So You Think has been enjoying a great season on the track and his progeny were in strong demand at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale online this week highlighted by his first million dollar yearling.
He had five yearlings sell at an average $380,000 with his best result the half-brother to Group II winner Classique Legend and Aethero that made $1.1million for Tyreel Stud to the bid of Hong Kong based Legend Racing.
Tyreel also had a good result with their filly from Erika that made $180,000 when bought by Ciaron Maher Racing / Astute Bloodstock, while Edinburgh Park Stud sold a colt from stakes-winner Fill the Page for $310,000 to Matchem Holding.
Fresh from siring Quick Thinker to win the Group I ATC Australian Derby (2400m) last weekend, So You Think has two contenders at The Championships at Randwick on Saturday with Miss Siska to contest the Group I ATC Coolmore Legacy (1600m) and Fasika to run in the Group II ATC Sapphire Stakes (1200m).
