Champion sire Fastnet Rock featured with a stakes-winner in South Africa on Saturday with bargain purchase Ilitshe (6g Fastnet Rock x Reem Albarari, by Sadlers Wells) taking out the Group III Caradoc Gold Cup at Turffontein.
The Jurgen Van Heerden trained gelding won the 2800 metre staying test by three-quarters of a length and has now won six races from 23 starts with this victory his second Black Type success.
