Strong Demand for Fastnet
The progeny of Fastnet Rock were again in keen demand during the second session of the 2012 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale selling for up to $525,000.
Best result was a filly from Irish Group III winner Kincara Palace that was offered by Coolmore and purchased by David Hayes Racing, while a filly from Miss Heath was not far behind fetching $480,000 for Yarraman Park and secured by James Bester Bloodstock/Demi O’Byrne Bloodstock of behalf of Coolmore.
Colts from Lisson Grove and Paint By Numbers sold for $400,000 apiece giving Fastnet Rock the overall stats of 26 yearling sold at average $340,000.
