Strong Weanling Sale for So You Think
So You Think is enjoying his best ever season on the racetrack and his progeny were in keen demand at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale on Thursday with all eight offered being sold with a $155,000 colt from Humble leading the way.
Consigned by Lustre Lodge, the colt from winning Exceed and Excel mare Humble was bought by astute New Zealand based pinhookers Lyndhurst Farm.
The most expensive filly for So You Think was offered by Burke Bloodstock, the filly from winning Dane Shadow mare Eventide bought by Silverdale Farm/ Suman Hedge Bloodstock for $140,000.
So You Think was the busiest sire in Australia last season covering 261 mares and his overwhelming popularity and racetrack success this season has led to an increase in fee up to $77,000.
So You Think has sired 115 Australian winners this season including 11 stakes-winners with combined earnings topping $11million.
