Waller Swoops on $420,000 Yes Yes Yes Filly
Yes Yes Yes provided champion trainer Chris Waller with his first win in The Everest and it’s no surprise that several of his offspring will be following their sire into his Rosehill stables including a stunning filly from Pinova that sold for $420,000 on Wednesday.
Consigned by Attunga Stud, the powerful chestnut was purchased by Mulcaster Bloodstock/Chris Waller Racing, who also signed for another Yes Yes Yes filly from Group I winner Pear Tart for $150,000.
The filly from Pinova is a half-sister to three winners and her dam is a half-sister by Fastnet Rock to brilliant Group winning sprinter Star Turn, who has emerged as a Group I sire.
The grand-dam of this filly is former tough, brilliant WA sprinter Golden Delicious, who won 13 races, five of them Group and Listed wins, and has left six foals to race all winners!
Yes Yes Yes has enjoyed 100% clearance so far with all 10 yearlings offered selling at an average $196,000 with three more sessions of Book 1 to come.
