2yo Coral wins G3 for Zoffany

In-form Zoffany enjoyed a Group success at Leopardstown on Saturday via the Aidan O’Brien-trained Coral Beach (2f Zoffany-Abbasharjah, by Tiger Hill).

Michael Hussey was aboard the juvenile as they took the G3 Killavullan Stakes by a length from Guaranteed.

“She has plenty of ability,” said Hussey. “She travelled really well to the furlong pole — and when I went there, I think I got there a bit early.

“She’s got her head in front now, and she knows what to do. There is improvement in her, I hope.”

A 90,000gns yearling, Coral Beach was bred by Joseph Hernon.
