Kyprios (Galileo) Wins The Group 1 Prix Du Cadran at ParisLongchamp

Superior Kyprios Records Fourth Consecutive Group 1 Victory

Kyprios (4c Galileo - Polished Gem, by Danehill) proved head and shoulders above the rest in the Group 1 Prix du Cadran at Longchamp, where Aidan O’Brien’s star stayer extended his unbeaten season to six from six.

Sent off favourite following a hat-trick of Group 1 wins, the son of Galileo looked the likely winner from some way out and was ridden clear from the three furlong pole. Ryan Moore guided the chesnut to a 20 length victory, as their 11 rivals fought for placings.

“He's a great horse and it's a privilege to have him,” O’Brien said after the race. “He has an unbelievable capacity for covering any amount of distance. He obviously has an incredible heart and lungs.”

Kyprios continues a tremendous campaign for breeder Moyglare Stud Farm, who owns the four-year-old with Magnier, Tabor, Smith and Westerberg.
