$170,000 Churchill Colt Impresses at MM Book 2

The first session of the Magic Millions Book 2 Yearling Sale on Sunday again featured strong trade with the highest priced colt at $170,000 a handsome chestnut son of Galileo’s champion son Churchill.

Offered by Valiant Stud, the colt from Bella Epoch was bought by Hong Kong based buyer Chi En Andy Fei.

Half-brother to a winner, he is the fourth foal of an unraced half-sister by Street Cry to stakes-winner Futooh from stakes-winner Golden Millennium.

Churchill has had a couple of very promising winners of late in Cigar Flick and Attrition and was popular with breeders last spring covering over 140 mares.
