$320,000 for Rubick Colt at Karaka

Exciting young sire Rubick had just two yearlings offered at the 2018 NZB National Yearling Sale Book One and both found favour with buyers.

A lovely filly from Galilean Moon fetched $100,000 for Windsor Park when snapped up by Sir Owen Glenn’s Go Bloodstock and a stunning colt from Niki Piki Milo gave Henley Park a major result when he sold for $320,000 to Hong Kong based Magus Equine.

The first foal of his stakes-winning dam, the colt from Niki Piki Milo was a hugely successful pinhook having been bought initially at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale at the Gold Coast from the Newhaven Park draft for $80,000.

A superbly bred Group II winning sprinter by our former champion sire Encosta de Lago, Rubick is proving a popular choice with some of the best yearling buyers in the business and has 36 entries at the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in Sydney, click here to see them.
