$340,000 Filly for Uncle Mo at OBS March

Midway through the second session of OBS’s March Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale, Uncle Mo’s Lot 443 lit up the board when selling for $340,000 to Dennis O’Neill on Wednesday.

The Paul Sharp-consigned filly out of Storybook was bred by Joseph Allen and comes from a long line of successful runners with her dam producing four winners, including two stakes placed horses. Breezing in :10.1 at last week’s Under Tack Sale, the filly is a half-sister to Listed placed Romeo Lima and Camp Courage and out of a winning half-sister to Grade I Dubai World Cup winner African Story.

Uncle Mo is the sire of 56 stakes winners and 95 stakes horses led by eight Grade I winners and 31 other graded stakes winners.
