$700,000 In Foal Mare Starts Justify On High Note at Fasig-Tipton November

The first mare to sell in foal to Champion Justify at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale started his career on a high note when that mare, Crowley’s Law, brought $700,000.

Bred on a February 10 cover and consigned by Taylor Made Sales, the stakes winning Dubawi mare sold to the partnership of Bridlewood Farm and Ballylinch Stud as Hip 105 soon after the broodmare section of the sale began.

The dam of two foals already, with her first a yearling, Crowley’s Law’s won or placed in seven stakes races including a second in the Grade I First Lady Stakes during her racing career.

A successful racemare with a successful family, Crowley’s Law is a half-sister to Listed placed Finniston Farm and is out of a half-sister to stakes winning Port Helene and from the family of Champion Night Off.

The only Triple Crown winner to retire undefeated, Justify’s first in-foal mares include 59 Grade/Group 1 winners and/or producers.
