So You Think X Fragrance yearling colt conformation shot

$800,000 for So You Think Colt

The progeny of outstanding Group I sire So You Think have proven most popular at Magic Millions with a colt from Fragrance selling on Wednesday for $800,000.

Consigned by Segenhoe, the colt was bred by Phoenix Thoroughbreds and was bought by George Moore Bloodstock.

“We’ve had a bit of luck with So You Thinks. I bought Buddies and he ran in the Sprint in Hong Kong. He's probably a Group 3 horse up there and this colt is very similar," George Moore told ANZ Bloodstock News.

"He was really composed today. He has a really big hip on him, and carried himself well."

He is the third foal of unraced Commands mare Fragrance, a sibling to Group I winner Skilled and Group II winners Sidestep and Ambidexter, all three of them sires.

So You Think has had eight yearlings sell so far at an average $257,500 with other good results a colt from Fartoo Flashy that made $280,000 for Mill Park and a colt from Absolute Joy that made $220,000 for Strawberry Hill Stud.
