Accommodate Eva Romps in Stakes Success
Accommodate Eva (3f Munnings x Accomodate, by Pleasantly Perfect) registered a second stakes victory on Saturday with a 5 ¼ length win in the Lipstick Junky Stakes at Fair Grounds.
Racing over a mile on the dirt in her second start of the year, the Dallas Stewart trainee raced in midpack down the backstretch. A tightly packed group saw Accommodate Eva just two lengths behind the leader as she raced a path off the rail on the inside of another horse.
Corey Lanerie saw an opening as the field raced into the stretch and sent his filly through the hole and to the lead. She quickly proved to be the best runner in the field with a 5 1/4 length victory without ever feeling the whip.
Racing for Valene Farms, Accommodate Eva is now the winner of three starts for $189,230 in earnings.
Bred in Louisiana by Brad King and Todd Fincher, Accommodate Eva is one of four stakes performers out of Accomodate alongside the stakes placed trio of Hennessy Express, Hit a Lick, and Storming Back.
Accomodate is out of the Grade III-placed Consort Music, who is one of three stakes performers for her own dam.
This is the second stakes winner of the year for Munnings, who also has four stakes performers in 2024.
