Fascile Mode (Walk In The Park) Makes A Winning Debut At Leopardstown

Another Exciting Prospect By Walk In The Park

Fascile Mode (4g Walk In The Park - C’Est La Mode) emerged as an exciting prospect when beating seven previous winners in Thursday’s bumper at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival.

Tom Mullins’ charge was the sole newcomer to line up for the hot contest and was ridden towards the back of the field by Charlie Mullins. Switched right three furlongs from home, he produced his challenge a furlong later and was ridden to lead approaching the final furlong. Running on well, he scored by two lengths and three quarters from George Mernagh Bumper second Lecky Watson, while £220,000 purchase Special Cadeau took third. The leading trio finished clear of the remainder.

“He did a blinding bit of work a week ago,” the winning trainer revealed after the race. “He was always a nice horse and he ticks all the boxes.”

Owned and bred by Mrs Helen Mullins, the son of Walk In The Park hails from the family of Stattler.
