Back-To-Back Wins For Promising Camelot Colt

Living Legend (3c Camelot - Jazz Girl, by Johar) looks to have a bright future after gaining back-to-back wins in a ten furlong contest at Kempton on Saturday.

Successful on his second start in September, the Mark Johnston-trained colt faced a competitive field that included the well-bred favourite Sucellus, a debut winner in December, and €325,000 yearling buy Sawasdee. Joe Fanning rode the bay to track the leading favourite and was asked to challenge approaching the two furlong pole, improving to lead in the final furlong and was driven out to score by three parts of a length. Sucellus finished second, seven lengths clear of Sawasdee in third.

Bred by Andy Oliver, Living Legend is the first foal out of Jazz Girl, who Oliver trained to win eight times.
