Be My Gal bags G3 for Galileo

Be My Gal (3f Galileo-Longing To Dance, by Danehill Dancer) looked a filly with a good future when scoring in G3 company at Deauville on Thursday.

The Roger Charlton-trained Galileo filly, who was bred by her owner John Deer, took the 10-furlong contest by a length and a half under Frankie Dettori, who feels his mount could make her mark in better company.

“Be My Gal is a very good filly and I hope she is capable of winning a Group 2 or even a Group 1. She accelerated very well to win by a good margin,” Dettori told Jour de Galop.

Galileo was also on the mark at the Galway Festival on Thursday when Johnny Murtagh sent out Dalkova (5m Galileo-Dalasyla, by Marju) to win the Listed Corrib Fillies Stakes.
