Selling for $490,000 to the bid of Bernard C. Schiappa was a stunning bay colt from Echo Harbor consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds. The colt is a half-brother to Grade III winner Western Smoke and Japanese based stakes performer A Shin Harbor. Alex and JoAnn Leiblong were the successful purchasers of another outstanding Lookin At Lucky colt from Boston Lady for $300,000. Consigned for sale by Betz Thoroughbreds, the colt is a half-brother to Grade I placed Normandy Invasion. Top selling filly for Lookin At Lucky was a stylish bay from Citi Pearl that made $230,000 when secured by Mark Casse. Consigned by Nursery Place, the filly is a half-sister to Grade II winner Workin for Hops. A five time Grade I winning son of Smart Strike, Lookin At Lucky had seven yearlings sell during Book I for an average $195,000.
