Flying Tiger (4g Soldier Of Fortune-Ma Preference, by American Post) made no mistakes at Newbury on Wednesday when recording an 11-length juvenile hurdle victory.

Also a winner at Compiegne in April, the Soldier Of Fortune four-year-old looks to have booked his ticket to the Cheltenham Festival after this success.

“Flying Tiger promised to be good last spring in France so it's great he's come back,” said trainer Nick Williams. “He's classy and either the Fred Winter or G1 Triumph Hurdle is now possible.”
