Mastercraftsman Head

Chilean G1 Winner for Mastercraftsman

Mastercraftsman enjoyed new Grade I success last week in South America where Reine de Arabie (3f Mastercraftsman x Arabel, by Sir Cat) won the Grade I Clasico Polla de Potrancas at Club Hipico in Chile defeating Brooke (3f No Nay Never x Bellonce, by Proud Citizen).

Trained by Patricio Baeza, Reine de Arabie ran out an easy length and a half winner in the 1700 metre turf contest and has now won two of four starts.

Reine de Arabie is the best of three winners from Arabel, a full sister to Chilean Horse of the Year Ascot Prince and half-sister to Grade I winner Diane.

She is the 66th stakes-winner for Mastercraftsman and is his 13th Grade I winner.
