Classy Churchill Colt Not For Catching

The progressive Zain Sarinda (3c Churchill - Sarinda, by Dubawi) skipped clear to record his second success at Wolverhampton on Friday evening.

The Tom Clover-trained bay was sent off favourite for the nine and a half furlong contest, despite carrying a penalty for winning a maiden over course and distance in January. Making all under Jack Mitchell, he was shaken up approaching the two furlong marker and soon drew clear to score by four and a half lengths.

A step up in class may now be on the cards for the Elbashir Salem AB Elhrari-owned colt, who is now two from three. The first crop son of Churchill was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock out of German Listed winner Sarinda, who hails from the family of Rock Of Gibraltar.
