Mahons Way (Walk In The Park) Wins The 4YO Maiden At Lisronagh

Debut Four-Year-Old Winner For Walk In The Park

Mahon’s Way (4g Walk In The Park - Allys Bubble) emerged as a smart performer when winning Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Lisronagh point-to-point.

Denis Hogan’s newcomer was ridden to make all by Derek O’Connor and began to extend his advantage from the second last. He went on to record a winning margin of four lengths, with another eight lengths back to the third.

Mahon’s Way carried the colours of M.G. Hogan and was bought by his trainer at the Derby Sale for €80,000. The promising son of Walk In The Park was bred by John Cahill out of a homebred half-sister to Champagne Forever.
