Double looks smart for Mastercraftsman
Mastercraftsman’s fabulous run shows no sign of letting up and he was represented by another smart winner in Paris on Monday when Double Look (2c Mastercraftsman-Paper Profits, by Kendor) won at Longchamp.
The Marquesa de Moratalla’s home-bred had scored on his debut in May and - stepped up to conditions company - he ran out a ready winner of the Prix du Bassin Parisien over seven furlongs.
The Didier Guillemin-trained colt justified favouritism under Thierry Jarnet to come home two lengths in front of previous winner Mister Worldwide.
“He is one of my best two-year-olds and he is a very easy horse," Guillemin told FDN. "He is never keen, neither in the morning nor in his races. We will see how he comes out of this race before make any plans for his future."
