Fastnet Leading Sire at Karaka

Reigning Australian champion sire Fastnet Rock finished the 2013 NZB Premier Yearling Sale as the leading sire by average and set a new benchmark for himself in producing the sale-topping colt from Celebria that made $1.975 million on Monday. Fastnet Rock had 14 yearlings sell at an average $419,286 with additional good results on Tuesday including a filly from Secret Silence that made $375,000 for Westbury Stud when secured by NZB as agent and a colt from Miss Helga that was consigned by Curraghmore Stud and sold to David Ellis for $320,000.
