First Australian Foal for Magna Grecia
Superbly bred Invincible Spirit stallion Magna Grecia is a half-brother to one of the best European three year-olds this year in St Mark’s Basilica and he has his first Australian foals being born this spring.
One of the first to arrive was born at Fairhill Farm with Mike O’Donnell well pleased with his filly from High Specs.
"We are absolutely delighted with the Magna Grecia filly from High Specs. She's got a massive hip and hindquarter with great quality and is very correct. I can go back to him this season with confidence now," said Mike O’Donnell.
The filly is the second foal of winning High Chaparral mare High Specs, a daughter of stakes-winner Creative Plan.
A Group I winner at two and three, Magna Grecia is free of Danehill blood, but does represent a perfect mix between champion sires Invincible Spirit and Galileo.
He stands at a fee of $19,250 this spring.
