First French winner for Zoffany

The Christophe Ferland-trained Trento (2c Zoffany-Going For Gold, by Gold Away) continued Zoffany’s excellent start when scoring on his debut in France on Monday.

Bred by Mrs E Alberti, the juvenile won a five-furlong maiden in good style to become the first French scorer for his sire, who has also had good winners in Ireland and Britain.
