Easifar (Pride Of Dubai) winning the Listed Princess Stakes at Doomben

First Stakes Success for Pride of Dubai Filly

Champion trainer Chris Waller dispatched promising filly Easifar (3f Pride of Dubai x Storm Fronts, by Hurricane Sky) to Brisbane after an unplaced run in the Group III ATC Adrian Knox Stakes and she made a lie of that form when scoring a stylish victory in the Listed BRC Princess Stakes (1630m) at Doomben on Saturday.

Given a good ride by Luke Dittman from barrier one, Easifar scored a half-length win taking her overall record to three wins and two placings from eight starts with prizemoney just shy of $160,000.

A $220,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Wentwood Grange draft for Debbie Kepitis’ Woppitt Bloodstock, Easifar is a half-sister to South African Group III winner Readytogorightnow.

Waller has had tremendous success with horses purchased from Kiwi vendors Wentwood Grange that include Group I stars Kermadec and Kolding, who won his third Group I race on Saturday in ATC All Aged Stakes.

Easifar is the fifth winner from Storm Fronts, a half-sister to stakes-winner Miss Minden, the dam of Group I Queensland Oaks winner Miss Danehill and Group II winning $1.9million earner Pentastic.

Easifar is the ninth stakes-winner worldwide for Pride of Dubai, who also sired Achiever (3g Pride of Dubai x Lady Circles, by Ascot Knight) to finish third in the Group III ATC Frank Packer Plate at Randwick.

Pride of Dubai was super busy last spring covering 202 mares at Coolmore.
