Footstepsinthesand Filly Makes All To Maiden Victory

Brown Owl (2f Footstepsinthesand - Serabrina, by Iffraaj) built on some promising performances to get off the mark in Friday’s five furlong maiden at Wolverhampton.

Trained by Tom Ward for The Scout Syndicate, she had finished in the first four on all her previous starts, including when hampered last time out. Dropping back in trip on Friday, she made all for the first time under Richard Kingscote and was ridden entering the final furlong to beat the short-priced favourite by three parts of a length.

The daughter of Footstepsinthesand was bred by Kildaragh Stud.
