Coco Jack (Wings Of Eagles) Gains His Fourth Win At Hamilton

Further Success For Highly Rated Wings Of Eagles Juvenile

Coco Jack (2g Wings Of Eagles - Bright Morning, by Storm Cat) added a fourth win to his impressive record when justifying favouritism in Wednesday’s Class 2 contest at Hamilton.

George Scott’s charge was beaten just three parts of a length last time out in a competitive nursery at Glorious Goodwood and encountered softened ground for the first time on Wednesday. Racing prominently under Ben Curtis, he was pushed along approaching the two furlong marker and was ridden to lead a furlong later. Keeping on well, he scored by a length and a half.

A step up in class may now be on the cards for Coco Jack, who boasted an official rating of 90 before his latest success and has now earned prize money on all but one of his eight starts. Bred by Stuart McPhee, he hails from the second crop of Beeches Stud sire Wings Of Eagles, whose first runners also include Listed winner Blue Wings, Stakes performer Lovely Diamond and dual hurdle winner See My Eagle.
