Line Of Duty (Galileo) winning the G3 Prix de Conde at Chantilly

Galileo 2yo Line Of Duty lands G3

Line Of Duty (2c Galileo-Jacqueline Quest, by Rock Of Gibraltar) gained a comfortable success in the G3 Prix de Conde at Chantilly in France on Monday.

Trained by Charlie Appleby for Godolphin and partnered by William Buick, the Galileo colt ran on strongly for an eased-down length and a quarter success over Syrtis.

“Line Of Duty won well today and the step-up in trip from a mile has suited him,” said Appleby. “He is a horse that is going the right way. As regards to any future engagements, I would say he could take in one more run before the end of the season.

“I will have to discuss the options with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and we will make a decision. Line Of Duty looks like he is ready to go up in class again and I am sure there will be options open to him.”

Line Of Duty was bred by Triermore Stud and sold for 400,000gns as a yearling at Tattersalls.
