Galileo filly stars in Longchamp G1
Found (2f Galileo-Red Evie, by Intikhab) became Galileo’s latest G1 winner when starring in the Prix Marcel Boussac on Arc day at Longchamp on Sunday.
The daughter of G1 Lockinge Stakes and G1 Matron Stakes heroine Red Evie stormed two and a half lengths clear of her rivals to land the mile contest and looks a live contender to bring more Classic honours for Galileo next year.
“She is a lovely big filly, with a temperament to match, and I would think she will have no trouble getting a mile and a quarter and maybe a mile and a half, as she is by Galileo,” trainer Aidan O’Brien told PA Sport.
“Along with that she has plenty of natural pace, certainly enough to be a Guineas filly, knowing that she will hopefully get better over further. I’d imagine that will be it for the season, but the lads will decide. She’s a very exciting filly.”
