Gleneagles Filly Makes All To Group 3 Success
Dual Listed winner Tabera (3f Gleneagles - Temida, by Oratorio) maintained her upward curve on Saturday when taking the Group 3 Preis der Deutschen Einheit at Hoppegarten.
The Mintchev-trained bay once again raced over ten furlongs- the same distance of her two Stakes successes, and made all of the running under Lukas Delozier. A clear leader at the halfway point, she increased her advantage to ten lengths turning for home and was pushed out to hold off British raider Sky Defender by a length and a quarter on the line. Three-time Group winner Wonderful Moon was sent off favourite and finished third.
Owned and bred by Litex Commerce, Tabera is the best produce of German Group 1 winner Temida. She hails from the first crop of Gleneagles, as do Group 2 winners Royal Dornoch and Royal Lytham.
