Lincoln Rockstar (2f Churchill - Lincoln Rocks, by Rock Of Gibraltar) beat recent winner Solitary Trees (Churchill) to get off the mark at Redcar on Wednesday.

Stepping up to a mile, Charlie and Mark Johnston’s charge was hampered at the start and raced towards the back of the field under Jason Hart. Pushed along from three furlongs out, the bay was switched right a furlong from home and kept on well to lead close home. Lincoln Rockstar beat the aforementioned favourite by a length on the line.

Bred and owned by GPS Heart Of Racing, the daughter of Churchill is the first foal out of Listed winner Lincoln Rocks (Rock Of Gibraltar).
