Improving Kingston Hill Filly Gets Off The Mark

Ineedaleader (2f Kingston Hill - Liberty Grace, by Statue Of Liberty) became the latest winner by her freshman sire when taking the Prix du Remblai at Pornichet on Sunday.

Second in a similar contest last month, she raced towards the back of the field as the leader set a strong pace, with Alexandre Roussel biding his time to produce a challenge aboard the eventual winner. Quickening approaching the turn for home, the bay led from two furlongs out and ran on well to hold off her nearest rival by a length.
