Justify ex Full Of Beans yearling colt selling for $250,000 at the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale

Justify Leading Sire at Adelaide Magic Millions

Demand for the progeny of Triple Crown winner Justify was strong at the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale this week with just three yearlings offered and all were sold giving him an average $233,333 far above the sale average of $50,259.

His first two youngsters sold on day one with a colt from Shop Til I Drop selling for $300,000 and a filly from My Dinah Lee selling for $150,000 and then Bowness Stud were well rewarded on Tuesday when their colt from Full of Beans sold for $250,000.

The well related colt was bought by Bennett Racing Pty Ltd/Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and is the fourth foal of Full of Beans, a winning half-sister by Smart Missile to dual Group I winner Kenedna and Group II winning sire Spill the Beans.

"He was a lovely colt by a stallion that's really going well," said Nathan Bennett, who believes the striking bay can develop into a lovely colt for his classic year.

"Ciaron knows a lot about the family and he will head there to be trained."

Ciaron Maher trained Kenedna to win 10 races and over $2.2million with highlight wins in the Group I ATC Queen of the Turf Stakes and BRC Doomben Cup.

Justify has a strong line up for the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale next month with nine entries.
