Major is Ruler at Beverley

There was another first-crop winner for Ruler Of The World at Beverley on Wednesday when Major Snugfit (2g Ruler Of The World-Bridle Belle, by Dansili) landed a novices’ event.

Mick Easterby’s charge, bred by Mrs H Steel came out best in the extended seven-furlong novices’ event in good style.

The Racing Post commented that Major Snugfit “was pretty professional in the race itself, responding to pressure and rallying to get the verdict”.
