New for 2011, Coolmore Australia are delighted to announce two exceptional sire prospects in Lookin At Lucky and Starspangledbanner who between them won no less than nine Gr.1 races. Lookin At Lucky has the distinction of being the first colt in the USA in 31 years to be champion at both 2 and 3 years. He was also the first 2-year-old colt in 22 years to win three Gr.1’s at that age in the USA, while his victories as a 3-year-old included the Preakness Stakes and the Haskell Invitational. By a champion sire in Smart Strike, he is a big, strong horse that is sure to impress upon his arrival in Australia. Starspangledbanner’s achievements are numerous and well documented. A champion sprinter of Australia and Europe, boasting a pedigree synonymous with Gr.1 success in Australasia and an Adonis like physique – he is the commercial breeders ‘dream’ sire.
