No Nay Never Filly Looks Special On Debut

Lady Valentine (2f No Nay Never - Mais Si, by Montjeu) emerged as an exciting prospect on Saturday when beating well-regarded rivals at Leicester.

The Tom Dascombe-trained newcomer raced at the back of the field for much of the seven furlong contest and was pushed along from over two furlongs out. The bay showed signs of inexperience but soon swept past her rivals, going on to win by three and a half lengths.

There should be more to come from Lady Valentine, who was bred by Minch Bloodstock out of a half-sister to Listed-winning juvenile Look Around and Group performer Sara Lucille.
