Jonah Jones (No Nay Never) winning a novice stakes at York

No Nay Never York winner Jonah set to be exciting 3yo

Connections predict a big future for the No Nay Never colt Jonah Jones (2c No Nay Never-Conniption, by Danehill Dancer) following his victory at York on Saturday.

A four-length winner at Haydock in July, the Tom Dascombe-trained colt defied a penalty to win a six-furlong novices’ event with ease on Saturday despite the testing underfoot conditions.

“Jonah Jones has grown and he's a big baby. Richard Kingscote said it was tough for him on that ground but he coped. He's going to make a lovely three-year-old,” said Colin Gorman, assistant to Dascombe.

Jonah Jones was bred in Ireland by Frank Hutchinson.
