Oaks prospect Dazzles for Galileo

Trainer Aidan O’Brien nominated the G1 Oaks as a likely target for Dazzling (3f Galileo-Secret Garden, by Danehill) after the Galileo filly made an impressive winning seasonal comeback at Navan on Saturday.

The Swettenham Stud-bred Dazzling, a full-sister to G1 Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Roderic O’Connor, won a Curragh maiden last year and looks to have progressed through the winter after this cosy success in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Salsabil Stakes.

“I'm delighted,” O’Brien told “She's a lovely staying filly and she'll get further. She looks an Oaks filly and she'll have a run between now and then somewhere. She should get a mile and a half I would imagine. That was her first run – she wasn't finished and she should come on from it.”
