Promising Churchill Colt Wins Maiden On Return

Million Thanks (3c Churchill - Queen’s Rose, by Street Cry) built on last season’s promise to justify favouritism in Monday’s maiden at Muselburgh.

The Kevin Ryan-trained colt was placed on both his starts as a two-year-old and remained over the mile trip on his three-year-old return. Racing towards the back of the field under Kevin Stott, the chesnut made headway from over two furlongs out and ran on well inside the final furlong to win by a neck. The front pair drew four lengths clear of the field.

Million Thanks is owned by Jaber Abdullah and was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock.
