Promising Son Of Starspangledbanner Gets Off The Mark

Metaverse (4g Starspangledbanner – Golden Song, by Singspiel) got off the mark when beating two previous winners in Wednesday’s Novice Stakes at Kempton.

David Menuisier’s charge caught the eye on return to action earlier this month and stepped up to seven furlongs on his third start. Ridden prominently by Kyle Strydom, he improved to lead approaching the final furlong and ran on well to beat the favourite by a length and a half.

The progressive son of Starspangledbanner was bred by Allevamento le Gi Massimo Parri.
