Divinely (Galileo) Wins The Group 3 Flame Of Tara Stakes at the Curragh

Sister To Found Captures Group 3 Contest

Divinely (2f Galileo - Red Evie, by Intikhab) led home a 1-2-3 for Coolmore sires in Friday’s Group 3 Flame Of Tara Stakes at the Curragh.

Racing over a mile, the Aidan O’Brien-trained filly was positioned towards the back of the field by Wayne Lordan and was travelling well with two furlongs left to race. Making good headway, she ran on well to lead close home and scored by half a length from Ahandfulofsummers (Galileo), with just a short head back to Ubuntu (Fastnet Rock) in third.

Speaking after the race, Wayne Lordan said, “She travelled well, toughed it out well and stayed well.”

A Coolmore homebred, Divinely is a full-sister to three Group winners led by top-class race mare Found (Galileo), whose first foal Battleground (War Front) won the Listed Chesham Stakes and Group 2 Vintage Stakes.
