Third in a similar contest in March, the Colin and Julie Bright owned bay was reunited with Darren Andrews on return. He scored by five lengths, beating the even-money favourite Luke San into second.

Out of a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Ballybolley, Salvino becomes Leading Light’s second first crop winner of the month, following Kilbarry Leader’s debut win in a four-year-old mares’ maiden at Dromahane.
